WANT TO CUT YOUR UTILITY BILL IN HALF?

If you are thinking about building a new home, this is one upgrade you should really consider.  BioBased Insulation.  This insulation  will definitely pay for itself.  BioBased is an energy efficient soy-based foam insulation.  It is considered the most environmentally friendly insulation available.  BioBased uses less petroleum than other spray foam insulations and uses the renewable resource of soybeans grown by 681,000 American Farmers.

Biobased can save homeowners up to 50% on their heating and cooling cost.  It can also provide a more comfortable home by helping to keep all of your room temperatures at consistent and desirable levels.  BioBased insulation creates an air-tight seal  of protection.   Another positive aspect is that it resists moisture which helps prevent mold.

If you would like more information on this insulation check out their web site at www.biobased.net or you can email or give us a call for the name of a builder who uses the BioBased Insulation.

Summer time is great! We have made it through a very rough spring. Hopefully we will not have another storm like Feb. 5th but maybe you are wondering what to do in case there is another storm like that. Well, now is the time to prepare and so here are a few options. Aloha Pools and Spas is an authorized dealer for “FlatSafe Torndo Shelters”. This is an inground shelter that is flush with your garage floor. It is installed in a day. They do a great job. It is the perfect solution for someone who does not have a lot of extra room in the garage. This shelter does not take up any space and you can drive your car over it. Usually you can pull your car up enough so that you can still have access if you need to get in the shelter. They have shelters that will hold 4, 6, 8, or 10 people. You can check out their web site at www.swimaloha.com

Now, for some people that do not like the idea of going underground here is another solution. Family Safe has certified in home safe rooms. These are usually put in the garage but there are some other options available. Installation takes as little as one hour and there are several different sizes to chose from. You will lose a little storage space in your garage but you can store items in and on top of the shelter itself. The FamilySAFE was the first complete prefabricated steele, above ground saferoom to pass all testing preformed at Texas Tech University. Familysafe actually had a person inside during testing. You can check out their website at www.familySAFEshelters.com
